Principle Power Inc. (PPI) is looking to fill a full-time position for a Senior Data Architect in our Lisbon, Portugal or Aix-En-Provence, France office. The open position is set to be in the Technology Group of the company; a small, dynamic and diverse environment. The work will be centered around floating wind projects and the role will be focused on the development of cloud-based data ingestion, storage, analysis, and visualization architecture for the WindFarm assets and accompanying 24/7 control center services. Additionally, the candidate will work with relational database tools to support data analytics and reporting needs. This is a highly technical role, requiring skills both skills in computer science and managing external commercial partnerships.
As a leader in floating, offshore wind energy, Principle Power is focused on the commercial-scale deployment of floating wind farms. We are looking for a highly technical person to own work scopes related to data storage, analysis, reporting, and visualization solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data storage solutions with common architecture to be used across projects and in integration with our offshore SCADA systems. This work will be performed under general supervision of the Technology Group with various engineering, O&M, and commercial interfaces; however, the candidate should be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and take ownership long term roadmaps, budgets, and deliverables.
